Another Girl's Night

Tonight, I was glad to have a girl's night (aka Craft Night), after an already long week at work. This week it was hosted by Carrie, who did an excellent job. We had great fun and got some crafting done at the same time. Some people had a lot of success with their projects...

...and others not so much.

In the end, it didn't matter because this time we had a guest of honor, Georgina's 'Mum' straight from the Isle of Wight.

Ski Race in Delta Junction

Yes, another ski race, this time in Delta Junction, Alaska. This one was the last in the series. I'm going to miss having these races to get me out and moving on the weekends no matter what the temperatures.

It was great to see friends in Delta Junction again as well. Little Wyatt is just getting cuter and cuter! It was the perfect way to spend St. Patrick's Day, complete with corned beef and cabbage for dinner.

The Ivory Quest

Another friendly ski race was on the docket this weekend. This one started from my friend Steve's place. From there we raced four miles to one of the local watering holes, Ivory Jack's, where there was a mandatory hour layover before returning to Steve's place. For every drink you had during the layover, you could take two minutes off of your time. Don't worry. Everyone made it to the finish line safe and sound, and the bar even provided prizes for our top three finishers, which definitely did not include myself. I was vying for last place. No matter, it was a beautiful day on the trail! We already have our next race scheduled for this coming Saturday in Delta Junction, Alaska.

Last day of the cruise...

Saturday was our last day on the ship, and it was spent at sea soaking up some last minute sun while steaming back to port in Miami. After having Roderick and Krista wait on us hand and foot for dinner all week and having a great time joking with Pete, Jill, Jan, Dick, and Brian at the table, it would be weird to eat alone. We were all sad to see the trip come to an end for the week had gone so fast. Next time!

Labadee, Haiti

Royal Caribbean cruise lines owns their own stretch of private beach in Labadee, Haiti, which is like the ship's own little slice of paradise. It offered a little bit of everything for everyone. I kind of wanted to hide and not get back on the ship, but somehow it just didn't happen.

Jamaica, No Problem

I was really excited for Jamaica because I had signed up to go on a zip line tour through the jungle, and it certainly didn't disappoint! I would highly recommend doing this to anyone who ever has the opportunity. I know if I have the chance, I would definitely do it again.

We finished off the day at the casino, where we usually ended our days,

and somehow everyday involved a picture of Ryan grinning ear to ear as well.
